This particular unit has 783 square feet, with two bedrooms, one bath.  The unit
has been completely renovated, and will be offered to eligible households via a
lottery.

The second opportunity is the newly created Holliston Housing Trust
Homeownership Grant Program, which awards grants to eligible households,
subsidizing the difference between the market price and the affordable price.  
Lottery winners select an eligible property - single family home or condominium
- and the Trust will provide funding to reduce the sales price to an affordable
level.  The grant amount varies by size of home.  For example, the Trust would
grant up to $105,700 towards the purchase of a $300,000 three-bedroom home
(reducing the price to $194,300).

Homes will be subject to a deed restriction in exchange for the subsidies. Come
to the information session November 1st at 7:30pm at the Holliston Town Hall.  
Applications will be accepted from September 21 through December 14, with a
lottery planned for January 3rd, 2013.
