On October 30th, The Holliston Newcomers Club’s littlest ghosts, witches and goblins (and princesses and super heroes too, of course) braved the elements to participate in the annual Trick-or–Treat Halloween Party.  This annual event is a favorite for Mission Springs residents and children alike.

According to Julia Schneiderman the Social Services Coordinator at Mission Springs Housing for the Elderly, “We definitely hope to continue this tradition. It's a nice inter-generational event. The residents really enjoy seeing the little ones, and the costumes are so cute”.  The event starts with children and their parents visiting the common area on each floor of the building to trick-or-treat, and concludes with a party for all in the main floor recreation area with snacks and drinks.

The Holliston Newcomers Club (www.hollistonnewcomers.org) is a Not-for-Profit organization that coordinates charitable, civic, educational and recreational events and activities in the town of Holliston.  The organization’s goal is to encourage association among community members and foster community spirit.  Membership is open to both residents and non-residents of Holliston.
